These two are the program’s only calculation flags. Whether a concept is banked or affects the deposit follows from Type + these flags inside the engine — there is no separate setting to choose, so none is offered here.

Even when Active, the engine blocks a concept with no ruled treatment from new entry — that safeguard is not bypassed here.

{{ wiwWinTotal }} of the drawer segments the program generates need a window: their definitions carry no clock times (times: null), so a window is what tells the program which scheduled shifts overlap the drawer. A shift counts when it starts before the window ends and ends after it starts. Bill Payment intentionally has no independent drawer window — its candidate pool comes from SP Express employees scheduled for the business day, so it is listed below as by design rather than as unset, and no window is created for it.

Three rulings needed — nothing below is built or chosen

Snapshot rule in force: a drawer’s scheduled employees are stamped on the drawer the first time the schedule is readable for it, and never re-read. Changing a mapping or window affects drawers opened from now on. If the schedule cannot be reached, a drawer shows “Schedule unavailable” — no employee is ever invented.

Drawer releases

Release duration is settled: a side that a Master reopens stays open until the person resubmits it, or until a Master explicitly cancels the release and relocks that side with a reason. Nothing relocks on a timer. Reopening and relocking are both Master only, both require a reason, and both are written to the audit trail with who, when, which side and why. A drawer returned from Over/Short reopens the register report only; the cash count is never reopened by that path.

Drawers lock 3 weeks after their week ends (your ruling, 5 Oct; it replaces the 17 Sep ruling that took the old 21-day lock out). The week runs Wednesday to Tuesday, so every drawer in a week locks on the same day. After that only Rickey and Samantha can change a drawer. Either of them can unlock one for 3 days with a reason; it then locks again by itself, or when they lock it again. Both go into the drawer's history. A side reopened above still needs the drawer unlocked if its week is locked.
